ADD and a Diagnostic DNA Chip Research

Greetings from the snowscape that is the Land of OZ!

This week of snow days gave me a bit of time to look over the newest research for Attention Deficit Disorder. Research in Spain is homing in on a DNA chip to help diagnose ADD based on genetic markers called polymorphisms. It could be a powerful diagnostic tool. Presently, there is no single test for Attention Deficit Disorder; some doctors and members of the general public deny the existence of ADD/ADHD. This chip could be a real help for making effective individual treatments for ADD/ADHD.
