Spring Break Tips for Kids with ADD
Greetings from the Land of OZ!
I'm sending the newsletter a day early, so that you can get a tiny jump on thinking about planning for Spring Break!
Spring Break is just around the corner in the United States. What do you have planned? I'll confess, when our kids were younger, we just kind of went with the flow. What we usually got was chaos and a feeling of deep dissatisfaction. Nobody got to do many of the activities that they enjoyed. Later, we started planning the time, and the break was better for all of us. At our house, we still anticipate Spring Break with excitement.
Families look forward to the Spring Break. With a bit of planning and structure, the time away from school can be great for your kid with ADD. Your whole family can enjoy this time together. These tips can help!
Adults also need to make time just for themselves. Find something that you want to do, and just go enjoy yourself! So often as adults, we plan for our children's success and enjoyment. That is important. However, in the big picture, we need time, too!
