Here's the latest article from the Attention Deficit Disorder site at BellaOnline.com.
Greetings from the Land of OZ!
For the past few articles, I've been discussing the children we love who have ADD. This week we explore an adult subject--finding a job.
In our tough economic times, it is important to have a job that you do well. Loving the job is a bonus that can't be ignored. Is it possible to have that ideal job? How can you increase the possibility of finding it?
Many adults with Attention Deficit Disorder are either underemployed or unemployed. It is worth remembering that each person is a compilation of personality traits and skills. You need to take your personal characteristics into account when finding the right job for you.
How can you find your ideal job? Read this article for some pointers. Also, I carefully considered a number of books, and there is one that I recommend to give you more detailed information in finding the right work environment. A link is provided at the end of the article.
As always, I'd love to have you post questions and comments in the forum.
Have a blessed week!
Connie
