Hello. I am Susan Gaissert, the new editor of the Democratic Party site here at BellaOnline. On Election Night 2008, I felt like the lead character in "The Graduate," during the film's final scene. I, along with the rest of the Democratic Party, had achieved the goal for which we had fought -- a Democratic president: Barack Obama. But, just as I wondered then -- when the film ended with Ben and Elaine riding off on the bus -- I wonder now: what is going to happen next? I'm glad to be here with you while we all find out the answer to that question from week to week and month to month.
