Gynecology

March 17 2010 Gynecology Newsletter

It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade. ~Charles Dickens

I have spring fever and so does everything around me. The grass is turning green, tiny shoots of daffodils are growing in my garden, the pine needles are open and my dogs refuse to come inside. Our neighbours have been tapping their maple trees and the cold nights and warm days have given them plenty of sap to boil down. Some of our trees are tapped as well so we always get a big bottle of syrup. I just can't say no even though I know all the work that has gone into making it. A recent article in the news said that maple syrup has anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. All the more reason to make pancakes for breakfast. Not that I need a reason.

Here's the latest article from the Gynecology site at BellaOnline.com.

Aspirin and Breast and Colorectal Cancers
