Shalom everyone! March is women's history month and thus I thought it would be interesting to shine the spotlight on a tremendous Jewish woman this week, a woman whose life and example is one we can all learn so much from.
Jewish Women You Should Know - Beruriah
Beruriah, the wife of Rabbi Meir, a famous Torah sage is one of the few women mentioned in the Babylonian Talmud and the only one who is seen as something of an authoritative figure. Her great learning, wisdom and piety are legendary and female Torah scholars today see her as a great example.
