Another thing of note that happened this week was Caligula—the legendary “insane” emperor of the Roman Empire—was officially granted that title. He reigned for three years before even his body guards decided he wasn’t worth keeping alive and assassinated him themselves. I just thought it was a fun piece of information to toss out there. His official placement occurred on March 18, 37.
