Greetings to all folks near and far.

This is the time of year for new beginnings, when Mother Earth is warming up for the new growth season of spring. People are outside, preparing the soil and planning the gardens. Some may already have seedlings ready to plant, depending on the weather in their area. At the end of the day after work is done, it is the perfect time to gather round the family storyteller after supper and listen to legends and myths of days gone by.

Many myths, regardless of the origin or culture, have a message of learning that is hidden is symbolic meaning. Native American legends are filled with spiritual symbolism.
