Hello!
The first day of spring has arrived in the northern hemisphere. Easter and Passover are coming soon. Here in Canada, where I live, the snow is almost melted and the temperatures are starting to climb. Time to get serious about summer vacation and travel planning!
A post in the Budget Travel Forum reminded me of the great savings to be had by sleeping in a tent. I love sleeping outside, but it is an acquired taste. If you have never camped before, my latest article on the Budget Travel site at BellaOnline.com might help you prepare to try it.
Here's the article link. And thanks to Jim Collyer, whose post it was that reminded me about tenting.

You don't have to go out and buy a lot of equipment to try tenting. Look around your community and get in contact with local outdoors groups. There may be rental opportunities available, or perhaps you can borrow from a friend.
