Well spring gave us a little tease here in Western New York but winter, being the big practical joker, she is came back in with a vengence. Today the morning began with a whopping 5 degrees and a delightful stiff north wind. There is no snow cover and the ground is rock hard. Sitting here wondering what to do with the horses since going out will mean navigating through frozen ruts. At least the sun is out. Perhaps the best choice for the time being is to sit and read through some horse articles.
