Birding

March 30 2007 Birding Newsletter

Hi Everyone.

How I love spring! Here in my Canadian prairie town, it’s finally peering through the curtains today, and the birds sing in welcome. Unfortunately though, it's not likely to last here. I’ve written about that in one of the two latest articles I’ve posted at the Birding Corner at BellaOnline:
Read ‘Meditation for Returning Spring’ at http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art50049.asp

I’m also thrilled to bring you a BellaOnline exclusive! Results of the Gibsonian Birder Study may be released on April 1st. (That’s this weekend!) This is a major study by scientists and sociologists which closely analyzes the habits and tendencies of birders. The preliminary findings have been released to the subscribers of this Birding newsletter only. You'll want to read the entire pre-release information here:

Thanks to those readers who write to tell me your bird stories! I enjoy them thoroughly—keep them coming! Sometimes it takes me a few weeks, but I will respond.

All the best to everyone. May sunshine, birdsong, and laughter fill your days.
