Here's the latest article from the Attention Deficit Disorder site at BellaOnline.com.
Greetings from the Land of Oz!
After a lovely week of springlike weather, our daffodils woke up one morning wearing a coat of snow! The weather here is crazy. What is it like where you are at? You may notice that your newsletter is early this week. I got too excited about the new article to save it for the extra day. As a newsletter subscriber, I wanted to make sure that you get the first word on new articles.
In writing for you, I try to find a balance of information that is strictly adult, and articles to help the kids in our lives. This week, your article is for adults. Several weeks ago I explored "Finding a Job with ADD." From the response, it looked like people might want "Keeping a Job with Attention Deficit Disorder."
For people who wrestle with Attention Deficit Disorder, finding a job that you love is a first step in staying gainfully employed. Also, take control of your environment! Having the right atmosphere, organization, attitude toward meetings, and interpersonal skills are all crucial to keeping a job.
In the article, I added links to a couple of books that have more information on the subjects of finding and keeping a job. You might want to check them out from your local library to see if you want them for a part of your permanent collection.
Let us know about your questions. Please feel free to share your concerns and successes with us here! I love it when readers post in the forum.
Have a blessed week!
Connie
