Greetings Everyone -

April is autism awareness month and starts tomorrow. This is spring break for Los Angeles Unified School District and next week for California Virtual Academy. My son Nick turned 15 last week and I turn 50 this Saturday.

I am filling out the application for the Help Group Teens on the go summer camp for Nick, this is a new camp for ages 15-18 and according to the Regional Center families can expect to pay half the cost for summer camp.

I am going to try to do both the Autism Speaks Resource Fair at the Rose Bowl April 24th and at Los Angeles Convention Center the LAUSD Parent summit. Please let me know if you will be at either of these.

If you have any resources for autism awareness month please email me so I can compile a list for an article.

There is a new autism movie on HBO this Friday that I plan to watch.
