The late Mary Maynard shared this heart pattern with the Online Tatting Class a few years back. It features graduated picots, self-closing mock rings, and floating rings.
Abbreviations:
vsp = very small picot just for joining
p = picot
lp = large picot
llp = a picot larger than the previous lp
+ = join
ss = switch shuttles
scmr = self-closing mock ring
tor or fr = thrown off ring or floating ring
rw = reverse work
dnrw = do not reverse work
R1 = 9 jp 12 jp 9 rw
CH1 = 2, (p 2) x 14, 2 jp 2 rw
R2 = 9 + (join to last p of R1 ), 15 jp 9 rw
CH2 = 2 + (join to jp of CH1 ) (p 2) x 14, 2 jp 2 rw

Note from Mary:
If you tat the first scmr in front side tatting style, when you interlace the 3 TOR (Floating Rings) into the beginning ring, they will face front. The second scmr may have to be twisted to face forward with blocking.

Floating rings such as those in this necklace by Nina Libin can really add a lot to a design.
