Yes, Lindsay Rogers' "Tatting Collage" now has a new cover. This is the third cover used for her book. The book is a little gem with black and white photos, no diagrams but written directions for each motif. The most charming part of the book is that is shows the tatter many possible ways to combine all the separate tatted motif into delightful tatted collages.
These lace pictures incorporate flowers, leaves, bonsai trees, butterflies, dragonflies, spiders and cobwebs design. They are perfect for wall hangings, framed pictures, crazy quilt embellishments, clothing decor and would make exceptionally beautiful greeting cards or scrapbook pages.
My favorite pattern is a bonsai cherry blossom tree. I can just picture it with lovely blossoms on the branches and perhaps some drifting away on the wind.
There is a one page mini-history of tatting followed by a page of tatting tips. Tatting instructions are not given. (But you can find many tutorials right here on BellaOnline.com.
