This sample was worked in size 20 thread and measures 3.6" inches (92 mm) in diameter.
If working in a finer or coarser thread, the length of the spaces between the rings will need to be adjusted.
Row 1
First inward facing ring:
Ring: 5 - (long picot) 5 clr leave a bare thread space of 3/16 th inch (.5 cm)
First outward facing ring:
Outer ring: 5 - 5 clr leave a bare thread space of 3/16 th inch (.5 cm)
*Next inward facing: 5, + (join to long picot) 5 leave bare thread space of 3/16 th inch (.5 cm)
Next outer facing: 5 - 5 clr leave a space of 3/16 th inch (.5 cm)
Repeat from * 4 times more, then secure ends in the first inward facing ring.
Row 2
Ring: 5 - 5 clr pass the needle through the picot of an outer ring on row 1.
Leave a space in the thread of 3/8th inch (1 cm)
Ring: 5 - 5 clr Leave a space in the thread of 3/8th inch (1 cm)
Repeat from the beginning of the row 5 times more
Row 3
Ring: 4 - 1 - 5 clr
Ring: 5 + (join to one of the rings on row 2) 5 clr
