Right after Yom HaZikaron - Israel Remembrance Day - we celebrate Yom HaAtzmaut - Israel's Independence Day. If you've never been in Israel for Yom HaZikaron, the experience of honoring fallen soldiers is much different than Memorial Day in the United States.
