My latest article on the Feng Shui site at BellaOnline.com is called "Rearranging a Room For Happiness."
A recent survey from Money Magazine and Lowe’s home improvement stores found that making changes and home improvements in certain rooms can make you happier. According to the survey, almost 75% of people who had made home improvements within the past two years were happier, compared with 66% of people who hadn’t made any changes. The study also showed what Feng Shui practitioners have long known -- that the rooms which affect happiness the most are the living and family rooms, master bedroom, and kitchen, and the areas that affected happiness the least are the garage, patio, and deck.
Some of the changes I write about in the article include putting your sofa in the right spot, adding shelves, hiding the TV, letting the sun in, varying the light sources, encouraging sleep, and sitting in the power position in your home office,
