Attention Deficit Disorder and Making Mistakes
Greetings from the Land of Oz!
How do you feel when you make a mistake? For years, my mistakes stopped me in my tracks. Negative self-talk would run around in my head. Mistakes made me feel completely stupid. As a child, I had been told, "If you can't do it right, then don't do it at all." Is it any wonder that I was afraid to make a mistake? Years of effort taught me to be kinder to myself.
Have you ever had a day in your life where you made no mistakes? I hope not! Celebrate your adult ADD! The only people who never make mistakes are people who are not doing activities that challenge them. Spend your life in joyful discovery. Make your mistakes and use them as learning tools.
Have a blessed week,
Connie
