Our thoughts are with all the folks in Tornado Alley today. The south eastern tier of the United States suffered dreadfully last night from tornadoes. Long time member of the Online Tatting Class, Nadine Nunnelley (90 in August), reported this afternoon that her town was spared but her old hometown nearby was hit. Her family members sheltered in their basement 14 persons whose homes were lost during the night and have been assisting in aiding the neighborhood.

Nadine, a fourth generation tatter, is the author of "Tatting 101 - A Course for the Beginning Tatter." That beginners instruction book is entering its third printing.

Prayers and best wishes go out to all tatters and everyone in the storm damaged areas.
