Greetings,
Just missed getting on a last minute trip to the Galapagos Islands and am feeling a little bit sorry for myself. I’m not sure if you have a list of “must see” places, but the Galapagos has been on mine for years. The draw of seeing such a diversity of endemic species, unafraid of humans, in a stark but compelling environment, is amazingly strong. But although the opportunity and desire was there, the timing and finances were not.
Opportunity – is it the one of reasons for your island travel? Or is it what you will see and do once you get there that drives your decision to pick a certain destination? How do you decide when and where to go? That’s kind of the focus of my latest article on the Island Travel site at BellaOnline.com. I may have to wait to see the Galapagos, but that doesn’t mean I have to wait for a little more island travel. The only problem I’m facing is that I’m not sure where to go!
