Hello,

I hope you are having a great day so far. It’s been very rainy here in Georgia lately and I only hope that that the weather is much better wherever you are. At the moment, I would much rather be in an atmosphere where it’s nice and sunny instead of dreary and wet.

But, like anything in life, you must be able to accept the sunshine as well as the rain. The rain allows the ground to be nurtured so that the sun can do its part later, making sure that everything green grows beautifully in a harmonious way. When you put it in this context, you soon realize that everything works together in perfect harmony! Life will prove time and time again to be very difficult, but if there is anything that nature teaches us it’s that we must realize that good things eventually come if we just learn to withstand the rain! =)

That’s definitely something to think about…isn't it?

Anyway, I have some very EXCITING news so you may want to hold onto your hats for this one…I have just signed a contract with Silver Tongue Press for the publication of my first novel! I’m very excited! Only moments ago I have just corresponded with the Acquisitions and Lead Editor of Silver Tongue Press, Beth Walker Armstrong, and everything is falling right into place.

Beth has expressed her admiration for my storyline and has said that she is looking forward to working with me. I am also looking forward to working with her and everyone else at Silver Tongue Press.

I was so thrilled I couldn't wait to make the announcement, so I wanted to do it here in the newsletter where fans of the Teen site will be the first to receive the exciting news. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to finally become a published author and I’m also grateful to all of you who take the time out of your busy schedules to read my articles every week. You are very much appreciated!
