Readers, I wanted to spread the word about a free military event coming up in the San Diego area!

The following notice is a press release:

The Celebrity Classic hosted by Stan Humphries is honoring the brave men and women of the San Diego Armed Forces by presenting two dedicated events.
The 3rd annual TriWest Healthcare Alliance Military Appreciation Day will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2008. An event that welcomed over 1,500 attendees in 2007, it’s a day of fun and entertainment. San Diego active military and their families are invited to enjoy free admission to the tournament, celebrity autographs, food, games and prizes.
These military focused events are a privilege to host. It’s a chance to thank and recognize San Diego’s military men and women for their dedicated service. It’s an opportunity to show our support and appreciation for all they do.
The Celebrity Classic will be held April 24-27, 2008 at Morgan Run Resort & Club.

* Free admission for all military on Sunday, April 27 by presenting military ID.
* Free lunch for the first 1,000 military guests to RSVP for Military Appreciation Day, Sunday, April 27 (lunch compliments of Crystal Catering)
* Free celebrity autographs/photographs (over 70 celebrities will be in attendance)
* First Celebrity tee-off is at 10 a.m.
* Limited parking can be found on Cancha De Golf

1. Exit on Via de la Valle (S6) and proceed east (left).
2. Proceed to the intersection of Via de la Valle and Cancha de Golf; turn right.
3. The entrance to Morgan Run Resort & Club is at the end of Cancha de Golf.

Directions from Interstate 5 (Northbound):
1. Exit on Via de la Valle (Del Mar Fairgrounds) and proceed east (right).
2. Proceed to the intersection of Via de la Valle and Cancha de Golf; turn right.
3. The entrance to Morgan Run Resort & Club is at the end of Cancha de Golf.

Directions from Interstate 15 or North County Inland:
1. Exit on Valley Parkway and proceed west. Valley Parkway becomes Del Dios Highway; proceed past Lake Hodges to Rancho Santa Fe.
2. At the 2nd stop sign (Via de la Valle), turn left.
3. Proceed to the intersection of Via de la Valle and Cancha de Golf; turn left.
4. The entrance to Morgan Run Resort & Club is at the end of Cancha de Golf
