May 2 2013 Knitting Newsletter

Greetings from Alaska!

As I am typing this, it is actually snowing right now, right outside my window. Normally, by this time of year the snow is gone and I have actually started doing a little bit of fly-fishing. Locally, our winter doesn't week to want to leave this year.

Still, I look forward to the beautiful summers we have here. The long daylight hours provide great natural light at all hours, great natural light to knit by. It will be possible to enjoy the outdoors without having to keep moving to stay warm, as it will be warm enough outside.

I really enjoy knitting in the summer. I admit I may knit less often in the summer months. Still, it is the only time of year I can sit outside and knit my church's lawn or at the University Botanical Gardens. Since I still look forward to this, I was inspired to let this guide my latest article:

Summertime Knitting
Like any time, summer is a great time to knit. Here you will find project suggestions and tips to keep you going.
