There's a reason that I have routines. They help me accomplish things that I want to get done...like sending my article out on time...like making sure that my newsletter comes out consistently! My Thursday routine gets me home from school and into my publishing mode. I do any final edits and load the article into the BOL publishing system. Then, it's time for dinner and hanging out with my family. Last night, two essential errands got me home late. I went right into dinner and hanging out mode, skipping completely over the publishing part of the evening! Yeppers, my ADD kicked in for me, and not in a good way. At 4AM, I sat up in bed and knew that I had goofed! Here's the article.

Setting limits is an effective way to discipline children with Attention Deficit Disorder. It can be thought of as a statement that says, "If you do this, then this will be the result." The child knows what will happen. He can depend on the parental response.
