Hi there everyone!

I know it is weird to get something from me just days after I sent out the latest newsletter, but some things have come up which affect our community and I came up with an idea. It's about the Federal Marriage Amendment.

Does anyone find it interesting that the Federal Marriage Amendment is being brought up for a vote during GAY PRIDE MONTH? Are they trying to send some kind of message to us... or just idiots?

To help combat this asinine thing, I am creating a t-shirt for PRIDE '06 that I will donate 75% of the proceeds to helping glbt organizations fight for our rights and to defeat the FMA and those who would pass similar things in the states. These places will be HRC, EQIL, EQCA, and Fair Illinois. I was thinking about the ACLU but don't know how you all feel about them?

The charge will be 25 for each shirt whether it’s black or white. Since this is a charitable thing, I don't think many people would mind supporting it. I would like to know if you all would be willing to support something like this. I think it is worthy and something that we can do from wherever we hail. While our community may have many voices, we are still ONE community!
