Cluny Flowers in two thread colors

Abbreviations
CH = chain
CL = cluny
- = picot
-- = long picot
R = ring
Clr = close ring
+ = join

Using 3 shuttles and 3 colors of thread, Begin with a round center ring. Since the central ring is a separate third color, there is no opportunity to climb out without cutting the thread.

Flower 1
R = 1ds -- ( 1st half ds ) - (2nd half ds ). 10x . Clr. Cut and Tie.

Petals ( Flower 1 ) Using 3 threads (two same color) weave the 1st petal = 16 passes alternating colors. See video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02oALC69L-U

CH = 10 ds 2nd petal = CL 16 passes alternating colors + 2nd picot.
3rd petal = CL 16 passes alternating
CH = 10 ds. 4st petal = CL 16 passes alternating colors + 3rd picot.
Continue around until complete. Finish with CL + 1st picot.

Petals ( Flower 2 ) 1st petal = 16 passes alternating colors
CH = 12 ds 2nd petal = CL 16 passes alternating colors + 3rd picot
1ds + 2nd picot
Pass the shuttle through the arch formed to cross the petals
3rd petal = CL 16 passes alternating colors
CH = 12 ds 4th petal = CL 16 passes alternating colors + 5st picot
1ds + 4th picot.
Pass the shuttle through the arch formed to cross the petals.
Continue around and finish with CL + 1st picot crossing the petals.
