May 3 2008 Autism Spectrum Disorders Newsletter

Greetings Everyone -

The end of the school year is getting closer and then it is summer time. I still have Matthew's Triennial and Matriculation IEP coming up this or next month. Next Sunday is Mother's Day. Here are some ideas:

Good news about the Stanley Greenspan Online Course:

Online Basic Course on the DIR/Floortime Model is extended until Saturday, May 24!

"Because of the large number of registrants who want to participate, we are extending the final day of the conference to Saturday, May 24. All registered users will be able to continue the course until 9:00 pm, EST, on Friday, May 24. We will continue to accept NEW registrations until Saturday, May 17"

The post conference is still starting on May 10th and running through May 24th. This is on Sensory Processing Disorders. I am undecided about paying $75 for that since I have been considering purchasing the Amazon Kindle with my tax stimulus check.

In case you forgot or were not aware, postage stamps will be 42 cents as of May 12th. I received the May/June 2008 issue of the Autism Aspergers Digest today and read through the featured book entitled No More Meltdowns: Positive Strategies for dealing with and preventing out-of-control behaviors by Jed Baker, Ph.D. This is on sale now at Amazon and on my wish list:
