Good Morning (well it is here, right now!),

A new week, another little newsletter. So far, I'm maintaining getting one out each Monday, and I'm quite proud of myself. I have a hard time doing lots of things consistantly!

I left a post on the Pregnancy Forum, asking for good, creative ideas for baby shower gifts. Something other than another bouncy seat, or sleep sack. Although I love these things, I'm hunting for ideas that might last a bit longer.

Like a hand painted plate, or platter, from a pottery place. It could be just a favorite color, with all the guests signing and recording blessings or well-wishes, or it could be decorated as a birthday plate, used on the baby's birthday for years to come. After the shower, the plate would be taken back to be fired, and it would then be ready to go. Even if the new mommy doesn't want to risk it getting broken from use, it could be hung in the baby's room. I really like this idea, and will be using it for the next shower I'm invited to!

I used disposable with all three of ours, but would really consider the switch if we have a fourth. They are soooo much easier than when we were babies.

I hope your week starts out great, and your Memorial Day was fun. Or at least, productive. Or a break. Whatever you wanted it to be! It's already in the 90s here in the Southeast, so I took our three children to the pool. We have pink noses and shoulders today, and our AC is cranking around the clock. It's going to be an expensive summer!
