Nicolas Sarkozy - A New President for France

The son of Hungarian immigrants, who fled the Red Army in 1944 and former Minister of the Interior of France, Nicolas Sarkozy, 52, has won the presidency of France, replacing Jacque Chirac, who supported Sarkozy’s candidacy.
