Luminarte

For all of you who are familiar with Luminarte’s wonderful products, such as Twinkling H2O’s, I have sad news. Luminarte is going out of business. They have been a wonderful addition to my studio and work and I am very sad to see them go. If you find yourself in need of any of their products you may want to stock up now, as they will be gone soon.

Sarilyn

I have started a new website, Sarilyn, and while all that is up at this point is a blog, it will grow quickly and encompass the many different aspects of creativity, from both a business and personal perspective. There will be many projects, decorating ideas, organizational tips, recipes, party ideas and much, much more.

There will also shortly be an online store in place, in which I will try to make available the most current trends in crafting supplies as well as the staples for a lower cost than you can find for them in most places. Be sure to check there first and keep watching the newsletters, as I will be making special coupons available for my readers. The temporary address for this site is Distress Ink Techniques. I will cover some of the more basic techniques that you can use with these ink pads. The best news is that if you do not own any Distress Inks at this time, you can still do these techniques with your current dye ink pads. While the Distress Inks have a somewhat smoother transition than most dye inks I have experimented with, all the results were well worth the effort.

Shaker Cards

Shaker Cards are a fun and easy way to bring a smile to anyone’s face. Try this simple technique using confetti, glitter, or any small inclusions your heart desires.
