Big news for costume drama fans, as Andrew Davies (Bleak House) is set to adapt another Dickens classic, Little Dorrit, for BBC1:

Channel Five is set to launch two new free to air channels. One will feature US shows like Law & Order and CSI, and the other, Five life, will target a female audience. 

Watch out- the Emu's back ! If you grew up watching the antics of Rod Hull and his attack puppet Emu, you'll be thrilled to see the vicious bird back for his own show with Hull's 28 year old son Toby.

Ricky Gervais is all set to make the kids chuckle with his new children's show, based on his book the Flanimals.

Normally mild mannered Peter Pan of Pop, Sir Cliff Richard gives swearing chef Gordon Ramsay a good telling off. Ramsay got Richard to diss wine from his own cellar in a taste test. The mortified musician (according to the Daily Mail) told Ramsay to "go and f*** himself" Now then, Cliff...
