Hello everyone! I hope that you are all well and happy. I apologize for not sending a newsletter. We've been offline for a month as the old computer finally gave it up. I had to borrow another computer to get up a few articles but I'm back now. Some people in our area are still without power after the storms we had but we were lucky here to get ours back on after a night without electricity.
What's new since I last talked to you? Well, on a recent reunion we stayed with cousins, Barbara and Gerald and I tried a new broccoli salad that was soooooo good! She was kind enough to let me share it with you so it's link is below if you would like a new salad. Thanks Barbara! Now some of you may already have one like it as it's been a tried and true recipe for her for a while but it was new and delicious to me. This salad combines the fresh taste of broccoli with pecans, minced onion, golden raisins, crisp bacon and more! Very good. Another great way to eat fresh veggies in my opinion. Anyway, if you like broccoli give it a try and see what you think! There are a few more recipes there as well for you.
Also I've taken on the job of school secretary here but I'll be keeping up with all of you and continue to enjoy bringing new recipes your way. Take care and stay safe and holler if you want to talk about anything or have a great recipe you'd like to share with all of us. Happy cooking!
