Hi Everyone!

I have something to celebrate!!!! I just realized I've been editor of the Relationships site at BellaOnline.com for one year! And it has been quite a year for me as many of you faithful readers know.

I want to celebrate the occasion in a different way. I want to give someone a gift, and I've decided I want to make it into a contest. I am going to send a signed copy of my lastest book, "Into the Flames", to the person who gets the most people to sign up for our newsletter. Since I have no way of knowing who signs up, except by their e-mail addresses, you have to keep a list of all the e-mail addresses of the people you ask to sign up. In thirty days send me your list and the person who has gotten the most people to sign up for our newsletter will get the prize.

Now, on to today's topic.

It's the first day of summer. Sunday is Father's Day. I wanted to write something fitting for both, but to be honest, as I sat with my mother over lunch today, I realized where my heart really was. So, I came home and wrote about that. I hope you enjoy it. The title is "Is Face to Face Conversation a Lost Art?" Here's a description:

People everywhere seem to be instant messaging, or sending photos with their cell phones. Hey, a picture’s worth a thousand words they say. Then there is e-mail. I’m as guilty as the next of using the e-mail rather than the phone. However, I have friends and family who don’t do e-mail.
