Greetings ~
It is vacation from school here, although truly not a vacation for us as a family. It is a whole month before ESY starts and not a picnic.
My son Matthew turns 17 end of this month and I plan on asking for a new assessment, worker and more hours on IHSS tomorrow. The 4.4% cuts start next month as well.
We decided not to continue with the behavior therapy for toilet training as it was too stressful for us all. Matthew does not use his Go talk so I am hoping next year we can afford an iPad and see what the Speech Therapist can teach in that arena.

My son Nick is leaving online school and going back to LAUSD for his senior year. He turned 18 a few months ago so I wrote about all the changes that entails
Reaching Age of Majority
Lots of changes take place once your autistic teen turns eighteen and is considered an adult.

I would love to get some feedback from those who use pinterest regarding autism. I have not figured out how I want to do that yet and love some ideas. Also many use instagram for travel so I am curious to know if any use it for autism activities or therapies? I would like to write an article covering how people use instagram and pinterest for autism awareness.
