Summer is also a great time to go to yard sales for terrific, budget-friendly finds for the home. Visiting yard sales, flea markets, thrift shops, etc. is one of my favorite past times. I have found so many awesome things for my home this way for really cheap prices! Last summer I found 2 wing back chairs for $75. I've gotten tons of other furniture for much less and one couple gave me a gorgeous solid wood Ethan Allen 6' drawer set for free because no one had bought it and they just wanted to be rid of it! I'm tellin' ya - there are lots of treasures to be had out there!
