Teleras are Mexican sandwiches that are made using either teleras or bolillos as the bread. So far, my favorite "untraditional" telera that I make is one filled with potatoes, eggs, cheese, jalapenos and herbs. These sandwiches, er, I mean teleras are a delicious and satisfying meal unto themselves.
