Battle at Shiloh

In 1862, the Battle at Shiloh Church was the costliest battle of the Civil War to date. Also known as the Battle at Pittsburg Landing, Confederate troops lost 10,000 soldiers while the Union forces suffered mass casualties of 13,000 soldiers.
