Hi there, it’s Wednesday again, which means the Quilters Quarters Newsletter arrives in your inbox. I love popping in each week and only wish I could speak individually with all of the lovely subscribers to this newsletter. I currently have 4,040 subscribers worldwide, so that would be a bit tricky me thinks!! So this is the next best thing. I hope your week has been a good one, and if not, please accept a hug across the web from me. Next week will be a better week, I’m sure.
We had our 2nd Birthday at Sunshine Linus on Monday and what a hoot it was. We laughed and laughed and got up to some very silly mischief. We had four new girls join us (unbeknown to them we were celebrating with a party), but each assured me they will return next meeting, so we didn’t scare them off with our antics. We played some games in amongst trying to get things done. And of course, THE FOOD was fantastic. I adore home bake and there was plenty of it. Yummy in my tummy!! Here’s the link to the Sunshine Linus Blog for you to see for yourself. http://sunshinelinusgroup.blogspot.com.au/
BTW, that’s me in the first photo, holding a plate, getting ready to devour some gorgeous Chocolate Mud cake made by Anne (our resident wonder-woman), and yummy carrot cake made by Bev our Blog master.
I wrote another article in the series on Judging Quilts last week and this article focuses on the Design elements that are judged. Here’s the link to that article: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art177007.asp
And the forum has been active with discussions about Online Round Robins. Here’s the link to that interesting thread: http://forums.bellaonline.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/770192#Post770192
