Hi all,
Two new articles this period:
Book Review of Blue Jean Buddha - Voices of Young Buddhists
Blue Jean Buddha is a wonderful and diverse compilation of essays from young Buddhists on what Buddhism means to them in 21st century America.

Buddhist Personality Types and Meditation
Fifth-century Buddhist scholar Buddhaghosa taught there were six types of people, corresponding to three mental tendencies. Come learn which one you are, and the best corresponding meditation technique.

I included this last article because of the popularity of the recent Three Poisons article I had written. I think Buddhaghosa's take on these different 'shadows', and which meditation techniques are most beneficial can really offer new insight into our meditation practices.
Also, I hope you enjoy the book reviews I do. Since there are so many Buddhist books and teachers out there, I feel that reviewing books is one of the main things I can offer, to help you find what might benefit you. I try to rotate between different branches of Buddhism, different kinds of teachers, and intro vs. non-intro books. I always welcome suggestions, so please feel free to send them! I'm excited that my next book review will be a book from Thich Nhat Hanh's Plum Village, on teaching mindfulness to children.
See you in the forums-
