Healing is one of the mysteries of life. Although certain things can be predicted - such as how long it takes for a bone to knit, healing time for a repetitive strain injury cannot be precisely determined.

Why does one person doing a task end up with a Repetitive Strain Injury while another (who is essentially the same size and build) doing the same task at the same speed doesn’t? One answer may be found in the hippocampus.
