Here's the latest article from the Attention Deficit Disorder site at BellaOnline.com.
Greetings from the sunny Land of OZ!
It has been scorching hot here in Kansas, with a small respite here and there. The weather is supposed to get even hotter over the next several days in the Midwest. So, if you are where it's hot, please take good care of yourself and those close to you.
I've been really busy putting the finishing touches on my new e-book. It's my first book, and you know how that goes. When you are doing anything for the first time it's like learning to dance. Fumble, fumble, figure it out! Soon, I will write an article telling you all about the book. Its purpose is to assist parents who want to help their child be more successful in school. If you want a sneak peak, here is a link:

This week's article, Tangible Rewards to Intrinsic Rewards and ADD, is the third in a series of articles about ADD and rewards. It tells about how to transition kids to rewarding themselves. Children with Attention Deficit Disorder need rewards to be able to attend to task at their optimum level. You can help them along the road to success by being smart about how you reward them. Find things that they want and help to guide them by using rewards wisely.

Last week I wrote about Organizing for a Cause and ADD and I used my current favorite cause as an example. Here is an update and the link to vote for the Burge Bird Rescue. The Burge Bird Rescue is now in 9th place in the Pepsi Challenge. Please vote every day, so that they can continue saving those companion birds who have no homes.
