Library Sciences News

I had the pleasure of attending my first ALA conference this month. I want to thank Egmont Publishers for hosting me at their table during the Caldecott, Newbery, and Wilder Awards Banquet. The evening was marvelous, celebrating the great works of authors. My table companions were friendly and intelligent. I had the pleasure of sitting next to author Mary Amato.

In addition I was a panelist for the YALSA Intellectual Freedom program Walk The Line. If you attended the conference or signed up for the virtual conference you may hear the presentation online at the ALA site.
