Not too long ago, I underwent a surgical procedure. My parents came in town to help me, and my husband and children went with his family to Hawaii (a great gift from another family member). I had to miss a great trip, but it was so nice to have peace and calm during the first couple of days. I'm sure not many of you will be in the same situation as I was - and I hope you don't need surgery any time soon, but - if you do - I have some suggestions for making it "easier".
