Well, I am so surprised to be able to share four more issues in that new series of tatting pattern magazines from Italy. "Il Mio Chiacchierino" is published by Cigra in Milan. It is a slick glossy publication with about 50 pages in each issue. It is in full color through all the pages which are 8" x 11.25" (or 25 x 28 cm.)
The threads used appear to be our familiar favorite, Lizbeth, plus Valdani and the Diamant thread from DMC. Beads of all colors and types are integrated into the jewelry. And many wire or metal findings are incorporated, too.
Alicja Kwartnik's patterns and techniques are featured again. I found new designers' names in the masthead also. I think we may see more patterns from Luisa Fadini, Alda Bonaldi Bodini, and Rachele Richini in future issues.
These new issues which I have acquired are #6, #7, #8, and #9 issues of "Il Mio Chiacchierino." This bimonthly publication started with #1 in Feb/Mar 2014.

Cover December 2014 / January 2015 issue.
This holiday issue has festive decorative tatting as well as many jewelry pieces. There is one window ornament that has a tatted chain joined serpentine fashion. On the inner bottom of this wreath there is the cutest candle in red with a red flame. Very cleverly done.

Cover Feb/Mar 2015 issue.
There is a bracelet with cluny leaves in this issue. Unfortunately, the directions for actually weaving the cluny leaf is greatly lacking. Please see: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art37349.asp for the basic instructions.

Cover Apr/May 2015 issue.
This issue has a boutonnière or brooch made to resemble mimosa flowers. It is the most basic of tatting, rings and chains with picots, but the picots are trimmed to create the illusion of those delicate leaves that fold up at the mere touch of a breeze.

Cover June/July 2015 issue.
Jewelry patterns are featured cover to cover for this issue. And, the largest of beads and stones and cabs are incorporated into the work. Not that big is bad, it is just startling to see.
I have no idea where to start in this batch of books but I know it is going to be fun.
