I really loved this book. The flower projects are Alaskan flowers! Including all my favorites. Tall spiky fireweed, the prickly rose, tiny forget-me-nots.

We went out to Potter's Marsh last weekend. I got this picture of an eagle.

It was a fair distance off, but I was just so happy to see the eagles again this year.
