Hope you are having a lovely summer. We had a crazy thunder and wind storm here today but otherwise it's been above average hot. It doesn't make me want to wear much more than shorts and tanks so I'll be glad when the cooler weather hits and I can be more fashionable. I like my layers!
I have a blog giveaway for a custom handmade ring over at the shopping that ends on the 30th. You can have up to 4 entries!
Hope you are having a wonderful week!

Fat Quote
"So much of our lives are focused on numbers and letters. The scale reveals our weight. The tags on our clothes tell the size of our waists. I used to be ashamed of such numbers and letters in the sixth grade. I was eleven years old, two hundred and one pounds, and one of three fat girls in class. I would white-out my size so none could discover it in case a tag escaped my neckline. Sometimes I would even remove tags to avoid seeing them on a daily basis. Extra large and I finally reunited thirteen years later. This time I was not embarrassed nor was I ashamed. I embraced the size with open arms - and an open wallet - because I know my self-worth is not determined by letters on labels or digits on a scale. XL is no longer an enemy, but an ally. XL reminds me that while I am fat, I am also fabulous." From Amanda (Fashion, Love, and Martinis)
