Summer Grilling Safety

As a child growing up in the midwest, I enjoy the warm weather the summer season brings. The weather makes it a perfect time to cook outdoors. I recall running around the backyard with my siblings, as my father grilled ribs and sweet corn on the cob for dinner. The flavorful smell of ribs and corn makes my mouth water to this day! Those summer memories continue, as my family loves to cook outdoors, especially when we invite friends over for an evening backyard barbecue.
The summer grilling season can be a great time for a party, but July is the prime month for grill fires. Prior to getting your grill on, consider these grilling safety tips.
