July 3 2012 Australia Newsletter

G’day, it’s me popping to say hello for this week. It’s the 4th of July and anyone on the planet knows that it’s American Independence Day. It’s a national holiday in the US, so I hope this newsletter finds you enjoying a bbq or perhaps a family gathering. Good weather is on the menu for today, I’m sure.

Here in Australia we’re pretty much in the middle of winter and some of our southerly states have been coping it a beauty, with fierce wind storms, and heavy rains. I live in Brisbane, and it’s been pretty cold here too, although we’ve been enjoying beautiful sunny days – just the nights get pretty cold.

Last Sunday I posted an article about a wonderful motor drive visitors can take in Victoria. It’s called the Great Ocean Road and it hugs the southern coastline of Victoria for most of its 243 kms. Here’s the link to that article: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art171149.asp I’ve travelled this road many times and never fail to see something new each time.

Pretty quiet on the forums. Please use this social media for your questions or comments. It’s open to anyone who wants to talk about Australia. Here’s the link: http://forums.bellaonline.com/ubbthreads.php/forums/315/1/Australia

If you’d like to catch up with some Aussie news, here’s a link to three of the major Australian Newspapers for the last week:

I’ve been surfing on the web and came across the following interesting links for your enjoyment. Have fun!!

That’s all from me this week. Will catch up with you next week. Till then
Cheerio for now
