On Wednesday, August 1st - the 12th Siyum HaShas of Daf Yomi will take place. Daf Yomi is a method of learning Talmud where people study one page a day. The cycle takes seven and a half years to complete. On August 1st, nearly 100,000 Jews will gather to celebrate the completion of this learning cycle.
